Craig McIlroy is Founder & CEO of The McIlroy Financial Group, a financial advisory firm specializing in succession, estate and investment planning for small business owners and corporate executives.
For over 30 years, Craig has been guiding high-wealth families through the emotional and financial factors of family wealth transfers. He specializes in designing innovative solutions for those who have achieved substantial success and are dealing with difficult income and estate tax problems, as well as business succession issues.
His team of professionals provide modeling software to assist business owners and corporate executives in planning for their next phase -- financial independence. Another division of his firm provides comprehensive planning for owners and key executives in the areas of lifetime wealth creation, business continuation, and estate conservation.
Craig maintains a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and belongs to the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He has a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Relations and did post-graduate studies in Business Administration at Brigham Young University.
He currently serves on the national board of The Resource Group (TRG), an invitation-only, nationwide network of the top 200 planners within Lincoln Financial Advisor.
Actively serving in the community, Craig has helped with the Denver Area Boy Scouts, Easter Seals of Colorado Board of Directors and Douglas County Schools. Craig and his wife, Bertha, give back to their alma mater by working on the BYU National Alumni Board where Craig recently completed a two year term as President of the Board. They live in Denver and besides skiing, golf, hunting and fishing they enjoy spending time with their four children and fourteen grandchildren.
